What this site is for
Uni Insider is a resource site about choosing a university, a course or a route after school. It is written for sixth formers first, then for parents, then for teachers and careers leads. Each guide answers one question, names its sources, and shows when those sources were last checked.
Who writes it
Every guide on this site is written by the team at Already Doing It.
What Already Doing It does
Already Doing It runs Uni Insider conversations. This is the service behind this site:
- Sixth formers aged 16 and over book a 30-minute one-to-one video conversation with a Uni Insider.
- Uni Insiders are current university students and recent graduates, on the course and at the university the student is considering.
- Uni Insiders are identity verified and complete a mandatory safeguarding assessment.
- Uni Insiders are paid by Already Doing It for their time, never by a university, and no university tells them what to say. They share lived experience, not advice.
- There are hundreds of Uni Insiders across UK universities and courses.
- Schools can buy sessions for their students; families can book directly.

How the site stays honest
- Uni Insider is published by Already Doing It Ltd, and we say so on every page.
- When a guide recommends Already Doing It, the recommendation box says so inside the box.
- We describe other organisations using their own words, with a link to them, and we never say or suggest that one is worse than another.
- Every date, deadline and fee comes from an official source, with a link and the date we checked it.
- We publish no invented reviews, quotes, testimonials, awards or statistics.
